In a typical food manufacturing environment, facilities are divided into zones for treatment purposes in order to comply with regulations and operating time frames.

Service Routines

Emergency service is provided for designated pests 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Bio Tech runs both a day programme and a night program which enables us to respond to most calls within hours.

Service specialist reports to the person in charge to discuss any concerns and to check the monitoring log.

Inspection & Identification

A through inspection of the entire area to be serviced is conducted with particular attention to strategically placed monitoring and trapping devices. Accurate pest identification is the key to successful elimination program.

Devise Action Plan

In response to routine monitoring and inspection, a treatment program is devised to eliminate existing pest problems using mechanical, biological and physical controls. Pesticides are used only as a last resort and use is kept to an absolute minimum.

Implement Treatment Program

Treatment programs are extremely comprehensive and systematic.

Reporting and Documentation

After every visit a detailed service report is completed. Specific reference is made to structural, storage and sanitation deficiencies which contribute to the pest problem. Recommendations are to be attended to as soon as possible, to ensure the overall success of the programme.
